Scott Bohmbach moved back to Wisconsin after living in Montana for one year and in Minnesota for 17 years. He holds on to his childhood dream of the Vikings winning a championship, while spending most of his time working in Green Bay. He appreciates the Midwest’s four distinct seasons but is confused by those who complain about hot summers and cold winters. He spends his fall seasons bowhunting but is incapable of remaining still. He likes to fish in the summer but is baffled by people’s infatuation with ice fishing. His enjoyment for the outdoors is so committed he commutes nearly an hour to work every day for nearly 20 years; just to avoid the city and live in his country house. Although genuinely confused by the weekend warrior’s camping habits. He’s hates large crowds but loves the time spent in his home with his wife and their six kids.
Reading was and remains a favorite pastime. Regular purchases from library book sales made it necessary for home renovations to install a library. Despite the time-consuming nature of writing, he has found enjoyment and fulfillment in its process. Through it all he still, somehow, finds time to read.
